Our Q1 2026 adaptive wealthtech release

As we continue to invest aggressively in our technology, our releases tell a story of momentum, scalability, configurability, and the delivery of actionable insights across Envestnet’s Adaptive WealthTech. This first release of 2026 delivers not just enhancements but meaningful steps toward greater flexibility, customization, and efficiency. It reflects direct feedback from the advisor and home office users and addresses pain points related to operational efficiency, driving forward-looking innovation. These enhancements across our adaptive wealthtech come together to empower advisors to make smart decisions throughout every step of a client's financial life.

Enhanced trading efficiency and automation

In this release, we aimed to enhance trading oversight and reduce friction for both enterprise trading desks and advisors managing complex books of business.

  • Wealth Trading sleeve‑level rebalancing now enables users to rebalance sleeves without switching to legacy tools, aligning with our roadmap vision of a modernized trading ecosystem built for scale and configurability.
  • GTC exception alerts now surface directly within the platform, tying into a redesigned Order Management experience that supports faster review and more intuitive monitoring.
  • Automated Schwab trade hold management reduces manual intervention by detecting custodial restrictions and pausing trades until cleared — an operational safeguard that improves accuracy and reduces risk.

Together with our clients, we are advancing toward a trading tool that delivers a more intelligent and adaptable trading experience.

Greater control and personalization in proposals and ISP output document

Advisors increasingly expect tools that match the sophistication of their clients’ financial lives. Our proposal tool enhancements support richer storytelling, more intuitive proposal workflows, and tailored client communication opportunities:

  • Insights now available during new proposal and strategy modification workflows give advisors actionable context when creating proposals or implementing strategy modifications, sharpening portfolio conversations and enhancing client understanding.
  • New Investment Strategy Proposal (ISP) document flexibility expands with customized page ordering, section creation, and intuitive renaming capabilities, a key milestone toward more personalized proposal narratives.
  • A refreshed Current Analysis page further elevates the client‑facing experience with improved design and readability.

Our proposal tool is redefining how advisors illustrate portfolio outcomes and the rationale behind each decision.

Unified managed accounts (UMAs) and data-driven personalization at scale

We’re expanding UMA flexibility, creating more adaptive and efficient workflows for Home Offices and Advisors:

  • Expanded auto‑recycling support now includes more account types, including UMA/MMA accounts with bond sleeves, improving alignment across platforms.
  • Limited Trade Window (LTW) enhancements continue to improve how advisors manage timing constraints and expectations.

We’ve continued to expand managed accounts capabilities across broker-dealers and RIAs; advancing its award-winning UMA platform1 with advisor-traded sleeves, flexible householding, alternatives, and enhanced portfolio management.

Modernizing the advisor experience

A better user experience is more than aesthetics — it’s about reducing cognitive load, surfacing what matters, and creating efficient workflows.

Wealth Data Platform enhancements

With new features and UX improvements, the Wealth Data Platform strengthens data accessibility for analytics, reporting, and cross‑platform intelligence by way of our Insights AI technology.

Improved customization

Whether it’s the flexibility in ISP documents, the improved visibility of alerts, or streamlined sleeve management, the common thread is clear: Envestnet is empowering users with advanced customization that enhances efficiency.

More automation, more consistency, less operational risk

Several of our recent enhancements support our ongoing investment in operational efficiency:

  • Extended auto‑delink time frame reduces disruption and unnecessary account interruptions.
  • Monitor funding task accuracy improvements ensure workflows don’t advance prematurely.
  • Enhanced long/short-term gain budget controls support more precise tax and trading oversight for advisors on all Envestnet trading platforms.

Operational efficiency across onboarding, billing, householding logic, and overall advisor tooling is our north star.

Adaptive wealthtech that evolves with advisors

Our mission is to deliver the tools and insights advisors need to deliver superior outcomes for their clients, and our quarterly technology updates are a vital component of achieving this goal.

This release demonstrates the ongoing evolution of our platform, designed not only to support today’s workflows but also to anticipate the needs of tomorrow’s clients and their advisors.
