CHICAGO, Mar. 26, 2015 -- Envestnet, Inc. (NYSE: ENV) will hold its annual Envestnet Advisor Summit from May 6-8, 2015 at the Hilton Chicago. "As the financial advisory space continues its transformation into a transparent and objective system that adheres to a fiduciary standard of care, advisors need the right tools—and guidance on how to properly leverage them—to successfully adapt," said Jud Bergman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Envestnet. "The Advisor Summit is an outgrowth of our mission to empower independent advisors to deliver better client outcomes, offering a supportive environment where they can learn about the latest innovative technology and investment solutions."

Advisors can keep abreast of conference happenings in real time by following Envestnet on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/ENVIntel) and using the #ENVSummit hashtag.

The Advisor Summit's panel discussions and break-out sessions will explore the latest technology innovations from Envestnet and Envestnet | Tamarac, new investment offerings from Envestnet's network of fund strategists and managers, technology enhancements for the bank and trust marketplace, and ways for advisors to address the regulatory, data, and investment needs of retirement plans, among many other topics.

Distinguished keynote speakers will open each day's schedule of events. In addition to Mr. Bergman, Envestnet President Bill Crager and Envestnet |Tamarac Group President Stuart DePina, this year's speakers include Mike Krzyzewski, Head Men's Basketball Coach at Duke University; Ron Insana, CNBC Senior Analyst and Commentator; William H. Miller, Chief Investment Officer at Brinker Capital; and Dr. Brian Greene, string theorist and author of The Elegant Universe and The Fabric of the Cosmos.

The Advisor Summit will also feature showcase sessions with BlackRock and Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, a pre-conference "Tamarac University" program to train attendees on how to use Envestnet | Tamarac products, and a 5k "fun run" near the Chicago waterfront.

"The ongoing education, support, and technology training we deliver at the Advisor Summit are extremely valuable, as indicated by the regular feedback we receive from advisors," said Ron Fiske, Managing Director, Events & Education, Envestnet. "By networking with—and learning from—colleagues and Envestnet representatives, advisors can define their own paths to success in today's uncertain market environment."

This year's Advisor Summit sessions dedicated to investment strategy include "Best Practices in Employing Fund Strategist Portfolios in Your Practice," which will focus on how fund strategists can help advisors create a more scalable and consistent investment process, and "The Case for Investing in Fixed Income Now," in which four portfolio managers from leading investment firms will discuss their views on core fixed-income investing. Other sessions will focus on topics such as U.S. and international equity investing outlooks, the ongoing challenge of investing for retirement, and the use of liquid alternatives in portfolio construction.

Practice management sessions will explore topics such as risk mitigation, the role of social media in advisory practices, the integration of behavioral finance and investment management, and strategies for business continuity, succession, and exits.
