Envestnet | Tamarac™ Rings in 2015 with a Record Year of RIAs Adopting its Portfolio and Client Management Platform

More Than 800 Independent RIA Firms Utilizing the Advisor® Xi Platform, Collectively Managing Over Half a Trillion Dollars in Assets

CHICAGO, Mar. 12, 2015—Following careful analysis of all the facts and figures compiled during 2014, Envestnet | Tamarac proudly announces the achievement of a series of significant milestones. During the previous 12 months, Tamarac has added approximately 150 RIA firms to its roster of clients, bringing the total to more than 800 firms managing client assets in excess of $500 billion. The dramatic increase in RIA clients has had an exponential effect on the number of financial accounts residing on the Advisor Xi platform, which now number more than 1 million. “The number of RIA firms embracing Envestnet ৷Tamarac’s Advisor Xi solution continues to climb because we help them more efficiently serve their clients and in the process help build more profitable businesses,” said Stuart DePina, Group President, Envestnet | Tamarac. “Advisors who have migrated to Advisor Xi stay there, which is why we have had a 97% client renewal rate for more than five years running while continuing to grow our client base with both large and small firms.”

Envestnet | Tamarac currently has over 130 RIA firm clients who each have more than $1 billion in assets under management, some of which include Threshold Group, Fund Evaluation Group, and Budros, Ruhlin & Roe.

Advisor Xi deeply integrates portfolio management, billing, rebalancing, trading and performance reporting software with an enterprise-level client relationship management (CRM) system and an online client portal.  Firms can also choose to deploy a custom branded iPad app for their firm and clients to access their portfolios and interact with their advisors. The platform is designed to allow advisors to easily manage relationships with multiple custodians. Advisor Xi's high level of integration can enable RIAs to grow their assets under management by serving a larger number of clients more efficiently.

“Fund Evaluation Group has been using Envestnet ৷Tamarac since 2009,” said Gary Price, Managing Principal and Head of FEG Managed Portfolios. “Advisor Xi uniquely integrates portfolio management and operations, which allows us to focus on strengthening client relationships and focus on what we do best – portfolio management.”
