Configure risk tolerance questionnaire sub-questions in Proposals
With this enhancement, firms can make the RTQ more dynamic by setting up conditional questions based on each answer. If needed, you can configure a question so that when a specific answer is selected in the proposal, an additional question appears. This can include a text input question to gather more details about the chosen answer.
Notable features include:
- Risk scoring calculation in Weighted and Absolute risk: Risk scoring calculations can be performed using both the Weighted and Absolute risk scoring methods. Sub-questions can be configured for both methods. When a questionnaire includes multiple sub-questions, the risk score is calculated based only on the questions that are answered. This existing logic applies to sub-questions as well.
- UI Updates in Config: New field and column to indicate and flag sub-questions in Config.
An example use case is when the advisor or client answers an RTQ question by choosing the "Other" option, leading to a prompt for further details in a text input box, thereby creating a sub-question. This allows advisors more flexibility in their RTQ’s, and an opportunity to collect more necessary information about their clients, to help them potentially make better decisions in their investments.
Configure ATS sleeves at the sleeve level within the Investment Policy framework
ATS (Advisor Traded Sleeves) were introduced on the Envestnet Platform to facilitate trading outside of Envestnet. Before this enhancement, users could not configure ATS sleeves at the sleeve level within the IP (Investment Policy) framework.
This update adds a new sleeve type, ATS, to the list of UMAv2 sleeve types available for configuration. Now, users can configure IPs to specifically include ATS sleeves in their daily monitoring activities.
Selecting the ATS option from the Apply to UMAv2_Sleeve Types drop-down list, which is utilized for sleeve-level IP validation in compliance monitoring, prompts the IP functionality to apply the subsequent IP policies configured on the Policy tab exclusively to the ATS sleeves.
Submit sleeve guided Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), Systematic Withdrawal (SW), and Release Funds service requests for accounts in shared models
In a previous release, we enhanced the sleeve guided workflow for Raise Cash and Invest Contribution service requests to support unified managed accounts (UMA) in shared models with multiple accounts attached. With this enhancement, we’ve extended that same flexibility to Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA), Systematic Withdrawal (SW), and Release Funds service requests.
A prior enhancement broadened the sleeve guided feature for the Raise Cash and Invest Contribution service requests to support UMAs in shared models containing multiple accounts. This flexibility can help you preserve the scale of your shared models but offer a more seamless transition into tailored investment strategies, if and when your client needs it.
While shared UMA models can optimize efficiency and scale across clients, individual clients may benefit from this transition into a more targeted investment approach that the sleeve guided service requests offer.
You must be enabled to submit DCA, SW, and Release Funds service requests with the sleeve guided feature for accounts in PCMs and shared models. Contact your Home Office or Envestnet representative for assistance if needed.
