Tamarac Reporting: Client Portal enhancements
Customizable Contact Us page
Relationships mean everything in finance. So it needs to be easy for clients to find the right contact information for their advisors. That’s why we refreshed the look of the Contact Us page and made it easy to customize who appears on that page.

The page can now be managed in the Configuration Manager, just like other pages.

When you edit the Contact Us page, you control which service team roles appear on the page, what order they appear in, and what specific information shows up for each role.

You can show more contact information for the client service administrator and limit your own contact information, for instance. You can show your bio but omit the bio for the client service administrator. And you can choose which other profile attributes appear.

User experience improvements on net worth and holdings pages
In order to help you deliver the best service possible, we’ve made some additional improvements to the net worth and holdings pages:
- Net Worth: Mobile users now enjoy the same clean interface as the web version, with mobile-specific optimizations for better usability.
- Holdings: The data table features a cleaner design with smoother scrolling. As clients scroll horizontally through their holdings, the first column stays locked in place to reinforce which account or holding they're viewing.
Add and group by effective maturity data points in holding reports
Making strategic financial decisions requires a clear picture of when fixed income investments are expected to mature. That’s why, with this release, you can now add the following new data points:
- Effective maturity year: Can be added as a data point and as a grouping option
- Effective modified duration: Can be added as a data point
These data points allow better cash flow planning and reinvestment and help to align clients’ portfolios with their goals.
To add effective maturity to the Holdings page, in the Configuration Manager:
- Add the new data points:

- In Group by, select Effective Maturity Year:

Tamarac Reporting: Report Builder enhancements
Save and share modules and sections
Previously, building a report meant you’d need to recreate your preferred modules or sections from scratch. But with this latest enhancement, users can save and share modules and sections for future use. After you save the module or section, they’ll appear in the Module or Section library.

Separating unrealized gains from losses
Based on your feedback, we’ve split unrealized gains from unrealized losses so you can report on them separately.
The following new columns in Report Builder – short term unrealized gains, short term unrealized losses, long term unrealized gains, and long term unrealized losses – can help clarify potential tax implications that were previously combined in our reports.
The setting for each of these new columns appears under Columns Settings in Report Builder.

Expanded groupings and column offerings
Custom Fields
Certain account, group, or security attributes are tracked using custom fields. In the past, you couldn’t report on these specifically, but now you can add custom fields as either grouping or columns in Report Builder for easier analysis.

Bond Analysis Data Points
For callable bonds, the system now automatically selects the most appropriate date (call or maturity) based on current market pricing, eliminating the need to use the Next Call Date setting. This helps to ensure more accurate bond analysis with less manual work.

New columns available:
- All custom fields
- Effective Redemption Date
- Effective Modified Duration
Group by options available:
- All custom fields
- Effective Duration
- Effective Redemption Year
- Bond Ratings
- Issue State
