The winners and finalists in each SMA Manager of the Year Award category were determined through Envestnet | PMC® Premium Research’s systematic, proprietary and multi-factor evaluation methodology, which considers qualitative and quantitative criteria such as performance, firm profile, tax efficiency, customer service and investment process and style. To be eligible, managers’ products must be reported through the PrimaGuide research application, available from Envestnet | PMC Premium Research. Managers must also have at least three years of tenure and at least $200 million in assets under management within their products to be considered for an award.
“With the ongoing uncertainty of today’s markets, it is all the more impressive for an SMA manager to maintain solid portfolio returns,” said Jamie Green, Group Editorial Director, Investment Advisor Group of Summit Professional Networks, which publishes Investment Advisor. “Recognizing best-in-class managers helps advisors access proven approaches they can use to improve their practices and their clients’ returns.”
